Our company used to handle phosphorus-containing wastewater, which was in the form of phosphoric acid. The client used this substance for rust removal; the product was taken out of the phosphoric acid tank and then rinsed, and the wastewater generated as a result contained phosphoric acid. Now the problem is that no matter whether I add lime, ferric chloride, phosphorus removal agents, or use activated carbon for adsorption, the total phosphorus content in the water remains above 50 mg/L, and sometimes even exceeds 100 mg/L.
