The sulfur cooler tube bundle is clogged. How do I clean out the residue inside?

Use compressed air for heating; connect a 6-meter-long steel pipe to the hose and blow air in through it. 2. Deformed steel bar prying. 3. Please clean the company premises using high-pressure water cleaning. ——At our factory, all the heat exchangers are currently cleaned by cleaning companies using high-pressure water (high-pressure water cleaning trucks).
This post was last edited by ylb913 on 2016-3-29 at 16:13. To use high-pressure water for cleaning the company premises, approval from the equipment management department is required, and a fee must be paid to them for this service.
High-pressure water cleaning might not be effective! The pigging machines we use, with a pressure of around 30MPA, don’t work either
Personally, I think heating the water used for high-pressure cleaning to a certain temperature improves the cleaning effect.
If it’s a sulfur blockage, it can be cleaned with a high-pressure water pump; I’ve encountered this issue as well! It’s incredibly effective – a clean one meter
It is likely a solid mixture of sulfur and impurities; its hardness is much greater than that of solid sulfur
Cleaning with a high-pressure water jet machine designed for cleaning heat exchanger tubes yields very good results.
High-pressure water can reach 100 MPa; there are specialized drills available, so no problem
That’s right; we’ve tried all the methods you mentioned, and high-pressure water is the best!
