The inlet pressure of the recycle hydrogen compressor is 12 MPa. The recycle hydrogen sampler is located at the compressor inlet and is a closed-type cylinder sampler; recently, the pressure reducing valve of this sampler has been breaking down frequently, preventing gas from being sampled. I would like to ask if there are any other simple and convenient samplers that can be replaced. Thank you all.
Our unit’s circulating hydrogen sampler is connected to the inlet and outlet of the hydrogen circulation pump, and sampling is also carried out using sealed steel cylinders. But it has never been used; instead, the gas cylinder has always been removed, and the pressure and flow rate have been controlled using the valve of the sampler to release the gas into the sampling bag. Our device has a higher pressure than yours. However, this approach is highly dangerous and constitutes a violation of safety rules; it is not recommended.
Hello! It is recommended to use a sampling system; this system should be equipped with a filter and a pressure regulator, the latter being used to reduce the pressure to around 4 barg, after which the sample cylinder can be used for sampling ; This helps to protect the quick connector and the cylinder needle valve!
