As the title suggests, are input (output) card redundancies required for all points involved in interlocking and control?
1. According to the specification requirements, control systems with a SIL rating prefer to be redundant； 2. Generally, follow the requirements set forth by the property owners ； 3. Examine the design institute’s understanding of the key control points of the project and its common practices ； 4. The SIS system prefers to have full redundancy, including card redundancy, CPU redundancy, and power supply redundancy ； It seems that DCS offers less card redundancy; for critical process control, CPU and power supply redundancy are implemented.
