Help: Which option on the handheld controller can be used to calibrate a 12mA current? If the range is -100 to 100 KPa, how do I calibrate 0 KPa? ? Can the output current be customized?
It seems that the handheld controller cannot be calibrated for 12mA; in such cases, I usually set it to 0–100 KPa, calibrate it at 4mA, and then adjust it back to the desired range. There are buttons on the gauge, and it is also possible to adjust the zero point; since it is a gauge pressure meter, it can be zeroed out. The hand controller can define the transmitter’s output current, and is generally used for backflow verification.
Rosemount doesn’t have such a concept as calibrated current; it is generally calibrated at zero

This should be a gauge for absolute pressure; do not calibrate it casually – to zero it, negative pressure must be applied
What exactly do you want to do? Do you really have to set it to 0? Take it off; the range is from -100 to 100. Then, after taking it off, does it display the pressure in kPa? In that case, do not disassemble it. At the installation location, change the range to 0 to 100, and then check whether the instrument displays 0. If not, use the 475 device to perform the Zero Trim function; after that, it will display 0, and you can then change the range back to its original value. Forced output, circuit testing – some people call it setting a value; it involves making the instrument output X milliamps and then checking whether the system receives the same value.

For such gauges, when setting the zero point, we usually first adjust the range to 0 to 200, then calibrate the zero point, and afterward change it to -100 to 100. After adjusting the range, there is a deviation of around 0.00 several!
