When calculating horizontal containers, should the mass of the attachments include the mass of the saddle? Just add the quality of the take over, flanges, manhole ladders, and platforms!
Personally, I think the weight of the support should not be included. Just kidding: if you’re carrying someone, calculate whether you can carry them – do you also need to include your own weight? (It might not be appropriate to make this joke; please forgive me):P

The mass of the attachments is used in the calculations for the saddle; the mass of the saddle itself does not need to be included. Other ladders do need to have their mass taken into account, while for the access manholes, it’s not necessary to include their mass.
