The self-supporting vaults used in the external pressure calculations per GB50341 are extremely thick – did I make a mistake in my calculations, or is this indeed a common feature?

External pressure of 1.43 kPa, arch height of 7.8 m. An arch 93 mm thick is actually required. It shouldn’t be! Even if 1.43 is replaced with 0.25, the minimum value that requires external pressure calculation, the thickness would still need to be 39 mm. What’s wrong here?
It must be a mistake on the part of the unit; using a curvature radius of 9.36 meters, the calculated thickness of the vault is 3.14 mm.
