KingView and Siemens S7300 PLC

We have a project that uses 2 sets of KingView 6. 55 and a single Siemens S7300 PLC. When using one KingView unit, everything works normally; however, when using two KingView units, there are frequent intermittent communication issues between KingView and the PLC – 10 times per day for one unit, and once every 10–20 minutes for the other unit (which has the S7 software installed). I don’t know why? I would be very grateful if an expert could answer this. Also, I checked and found that the network settings in KingView are set for stand-alone mode. After looking up information, I think it should be configured for network connection – could this be the reason? Both units need to be used, so how should it be configured?
What is the communication method between a computer and a PLC?
Has grounding been done for the main unit enclosure, control panel, and PLC control cabinet?
This post was last edited by liuronghai on 2015-12-19 at 15:40. Do both computers work properly when used separately? This issue has nothing to do with whether they are operating in standalone mode or in a redundant configuration. Also, are these two computers connected through a switch?
Just to add: our KingView is a cracked version! At first, I thought it was a problem with KingView; using any other instance of KingView worked fine.
