The technology for wastewater treatment and resource utilization in large-scale farms is a comprehensive treatment approach developed to address the high-concentration wastewater generated by such farms. It combines theoretical analysis, independent research and development of key equipment, and pilot-scale experiments, and consists of an \"efficient improved plug-flow anaerobic reactor + eco-imitation pond for advanced treatment + algae net filter bed for further treatment + utilization of the water in agricultural fields.\" This approach aims to address the technical shortcomings in China regarding the treatment and resource utilization of wastewater from large-scale farms. This technical model features ease of operation, low energy consumption, high efficiency, a wide range of applicability, as well as low investment and operating costs. It is suitable for large-scale farming operations that integrate agriculture and animal husbandry, in areas with farmland, forest land, greenhouses, or nurseries of considerable size. The implementation of this technical approach enables the reuse of reclaimed water and the generation of a certain amount of biogas energy, helps to effectively control the incidence of diseases, and achieves the goals of water conservation, fertilizer reduction, pesticide reduction, and improved efficiency. A demonstration site with a daily water treatment capacity of 20 cubic meters requires an investment cost of 200,000 to 300,000 yuan; the operating cost is only 0.2 yuan per cubic meter, resulting in annual savings of 38,600 to 76,000 yuan.
