I’m really not sure about this. We don’t handle boiler maintenance, but is it still necessary to compensate for differential pressure level gauges? I don’t think it’s necessary; I’ll just wait for an expert to clarify it~
I have only done compensation for flow meters; I’ve never dealt with compensation for level gauges. Where did the original poster hear about this?
Today’s boiler level controls come with balance tanks and offer automatic compensation; the differential pressure level gauge only requires ± adjustment.

I originally thought there was no need for any compensation, but we use two sets of double-chamber balanced container level gauges with the same boiler; the readings taken at intervals often differ inexplicably. In order to get consistent values, we had to adjust the range of the transmitters, which resulted in the two transmitters having different ranges. I previously read such articles online; they were quite general, with much of the content being copied and pasted, lacking any real substance. They were not convenient to use, so I’m looking for a solution
