After the equipment was overhauled, the pressure and temperature at the top of the reforming pre-hydrogenation distillation column, as well as the liquid level in the reflux tank and the flow of sulfur-containing gas, all exhibited jagged fluctuations. The distillation efficiency was poor; products from the bottom of the column ended up in the top section of the column, the temperature at the bottom of the column was low, and the initial boiling point was low. It severely affects the processing volume and product quality; I hope everyone can advise me on how to resolve this issue!
Was passivation carried out before shutting down for maintenance?
The tray was clogged; the cleaning during the major repair wasn’t thorough. This has happened to us before – we had to stop work to clean the tray
Was this tower passivated when it was put into operation? It’s probably because the passivating agent wasn’t cleaned thoroughly
There is a radiation detection company, I think it’s based in Hunan, that can detect the flow pattern in towers; have them take a look
