Gasoline contains a high level of olefins and thus has a high octane rating. If, after being stored in the final storage tank for some time, the olefins in the gasoline undergo oxidation, causing the color to change and gum formation, does the octane rating remain unchanged? Or lower? ? ?

The olefin content decreases, the octane rating drops, and the formation of gums is harmful to the engine, leading to easy buildup of carbon deposits
