Distinguished experts, I am now using ethanolamine (MEA/DEA/TEA/MDEA) as well as diethylenetriamine and triethylenetetramine to purify biogas, with the alcohol amines being used to absorb CO2. Question: 1. What is the appropriate concentration for the alcohol amine solution? Are there any requirements regarding the reaction temperature, pressure, gas-liquid ratio, etc., in the absorption tower? What is an appropriate range? 2. Are there any requirements regarding temperature, pressure, liquid level, and whether inflow and outflow must occur simultaneously during the regeneration of the alcohol amine solution? What kind of regeneration conditions are suitable? 3. How many times can an alcohol amine solution generally be recycled before it becomes unusable? 4. Since the distillation tower is now heated with hot oil, wouldn’t it be better to use steam for heating? 5. How to improve the utilization efficiency of alcohols and amines? It was found that after an alcohol amine has absorbed CO2 once, increasing the amount of rich liquid allows it to absorb more CO2.
