After the reaction, the thymol-containing solution is distilled and then subjected to solvent crystallization. What solvent should be used in combination with the thymol solution for this crystallization process? I would appreciate some suggestions from everyone
I don’t know what the impurities are, and their solubilities vary; you can start by trying conventional solvents such as water and ethanol. I don’t understand crystallization; I’ll wait for an expert.
