If workers have not undergone pre-job health checks, and only regular health examinations were done in previous years, now that occupational health checks are being conducted it has been found that several of them have hearing loss, which constitutes an occupational contraindication. How should this be handled, and what is the legal basis for this? What were the consequences? Thank you!

Quite a number of our employees have hearing problems, which involve difficulties in certain frequency ranges; however, their daily work should not be affected by this. ——I haven’t developed the habit of wearing earplugs.* I might have participated in a steam shooting session, and during a subsequent ear examination, a minor issue was detected, but I didn’t feel anything at all.
What I’m asking everyone is: what to do once the health check results come back? It’s not about the size of the problem; how should professional contraindications be handled, and what do the regulations stipulate?
Personally, I think the person should be reassigned to another position or placed on layoff; if there is no suitable position available, they should be compensated
After arranging transfer training to change positions, it can’t be allowed to develop into an occupational disease.
The law stipulates that once a occupational contraindication is identified, the employee must be transferred from their original job position and placed in another role! Switch to a different position that has less impact on the ears.
Order No. 49 of the State Administration of Work Safety stipulates: Article 17 Employers shall, based on the occupational health examination reports, take the following measures: (1) For workers who have occupational contraindications, transfer them or temporarily remove them from their original job positions; (II) Provide appropriate placement for workers whose health damage may be related to their occupation ; (III) For workers who require reexamination, the reexamination and medical observation shall be carried out at the time scheduled by the occupational health examination institution ; (IV) For patients suspected of having an occupational disease, medical observation or diagnosis of the occupational disease shall be arranged in accordance with the recommendations of the occupational health examination institution ; (5) For positions with occupational disease hazards, labor conditions must be improved immediately, occupational disease prevention facilities must be enhanced, and workers must be equipped with protective equipment against occupational diseases that meets **standards.
