Most refineries these days have installed catalytic flue gas desulfurization units. There are a variety of process packages in use, and we would like to know about the operational status of these systems in order to determine which one offers the best treatment results at the lowest cost. 1. Which process package is used in your facility? 2. Is flue gas denitrification carried out in your facility? 3. What are the levels of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and dust in the flue gas emissions, in terms of ppm or mg/m3? 4. If an alkaline solution method is used, how is the saline wastewater treated? 5. If an alkaline solution method is used, what is the amount of alkali consumed per kilogram of raw material?
1. Our flue gas denitration system is not only in operation, but it also requires that nitrogen oxide levels remain below 150. 2. Our flue gas desulfurization wastewater cannot be treated either (using the double-alkali desulfurization method)
Both desulfurization and denitrification processes are in operation; the desulfurization is carried out using EDV wet desulfurization technology from the American company Berger, while denitrification employs Rotas’ low-temperature oxidation process. Sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides ≤ 100 mg/Nm3, dust ≤ 30 mg/Nm3. The sulfur-containing wastewater is cooled before being sent to the wastewater treatment plant for processing.

2. Is flue gas denitration enabled in your facility? Yes; due to the high levels of nitrogen oxides in the flue gas from the oxygen-enriched regeneration catalysis process, it is necessary to remove these compounds.
3. What are the levels of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and dust in the flue gas emissions, in terms of ppm or mg/m3? Sulfur dioxide levels are generally below 50 ppm, nitrogen oxides are within acceptable limits, and the same holds true for dust.
4. If an alkaline solution method is used, how is the saline wastewater handled? Currently, the saline wastewater is sent to a sewage treatment plant; there are plans to install crystallization tanks.
5. If an alkaline solution method is used, what is the amount of alkali consumed per ton of raw material? It is approximately 3.6 kg/t

It hasn’t begun officially yet. 3: What are the levels of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and dust in the flue gas emissions, in terms of ppm or mg/m3? SO2: 50 mg/nm3 ; NOx: 40mg/Nm3; Dust: 30mg/nm3. 4. If the alkaline solution treatment method is used, how do you handle the saline wastewater? The saline wastewater is discharged directly into the sea, thus meeting **environmental regulations. 5. If the alkaline solution treatment method is used, what is the amount of alkali consumed per ton of raw material? Approximately 4 kg/t (for catalytic raw materials)
