All two rows of heat exchange tubes at the vapor-liquid interface of the reboiler are leaking. Media: tube side – 10 kg of steam; shell side – butane + butylene. The leakage was detected during operation, and inspection revealed that all two rows of heat exchange tubes at the vapor-liquid interface were leaking. Solve?
What else can be done? Seal the leaking pipe.
Are both rows completely leaking? ~~Is it leaking at the tube sheet? ~~
First, find out what is causing it
Upon actual inspection, the analysis showed that vibrations occurred at the gas-liquid interface, which caused problems with these two rows of heat exchange tubes; all of them had to be blocked off. It has been running well to date. Additionally, visual inspection revealed no signs of corrosion
