Do waste acid storage tanks need lightning protection and grounding?

Dear sea friends, we have several phosphate storage tanks, all located in the tank area. I checked the relevant standards, but could not find any regulations specifying whether phosphate storage tanks need to be equipped with lightning protection and anti-static measures. I would like to ask the experienced marine professionals: does a phosphate storage tank need to be protected against lightning and static electricity? ? ? Thank you
For lightning protection grounding and anti-static treatment, I believe that whether there are any regulatory requirements or not, it’s better to have them in place than not. I also feel at ease.
Our company handles everything with safety as the top priority. I can afford that amount of money.
What are the risks if I don’t do it?
The storage tank should be connected, and its grounding resistance should be checked regularly
Ours are acid tanks; the largest ones have a capacity of 400 cubic meters. I’m not sure if there are any regulations that require such tanks to be built in this way
