Recently, the workshop needs to prepare a test run inspection form after the maintenance of a large-scale unit. The equipment in question is a reciprocating compressor. I would like to ask everyone what the main aspects that need to be checked and what preparations are required before testing a reciprocating compressor
Electrical equipment is confirmed to be in good condition; instrumentation and interlocks are confirmed to be functioning properly; mechanical equipment is confirmed to be in order; the site is clear of debris and materials. Process aspects are also verified: this includes confirming that the water system, electrical system, gas system, and oil system are all functioning properly, as well as checking the status of valves
