Crude oil itself has multiple different physicochemical properties; so how can it be considered impure? Water content is just one of the many properties of crude oil. Crude oil desalting and dehydration need to be achieved based on the characteristics of the crude oil and the designed desalting and dehydration process. Without specific crude oil properties and process conditions, how can forum members discuss your question?
