Dear experts in wastewater treatment, our company’s wastewater treatment systems are equipped with many submersible sewage pumps manufactured by Shanghai Pump Factory. These pumps have a very high failure rate, and both the repair costs and operating expenses are high. We are now considering changing the design of these pumps; do any of you have any good suggestions? Modifications for submersible sewage pumps or good suppliers.

Now, process wastewater pumps have been replaced with above-ground self-priming pumps, diaphragm pumps, or self-priming centrifugal pumps. Submersible sewage pumps are still used for lifting domestic wastewater, as self-priming pumps are prone to having their inlets clogged by the impurities present in domestic wastewater.
