For the outer cover flange of a floating-head heat exchanger, where the DN of the two flanges is different but the diameter of the bolt distribution circle is the same, how should the flange be selected? One long-diameter flange and one side flange? And how to choose gaskets?
The standards for the two flanges are different; generally, the flange on the side of the outer cover of the shell in a floating-head heat exchanger follows GB/T29465-2012 (except for those with baffle rods), while the flange on the outer cover itself adheres to NB/T47023-2012. The gaskets should be selected according to the requirements of the flange on the outer cover.
This gasket has a specific standard, GB/T29463-2012
