The best location to add fresh gas is at the inlet of the synthesis tower.
Taking our plant’s twin towers as an example, the supplement for Tower 1 is placed in front of the heat exchangers at the tower’s inlet and outlet, which is straightforward and effective; whereas for Tower 2, it is located before the circulation pump, and adding it at the outlet pressure is not sufficient. Don’t import and export heat exchangers provide a certain degree of buffering effect?
