Recently, Zibo Taitong Catalysis Technology Co., Ltd. signed a supply contract to provide coal tar-based hydrogenation catalysts for the 300,000 tons per year anthracene oil lightening facility of Shandong Huidong New Energy Co., Ltd. Shandong Huidong New Energy Co., Ltd. currently has a 150,000 tons per year facility for the lightening of anthracene oil, which uses hydrogenation catalysts of the coal tar series produced by Zibo Taitong. After successful operation in September 2014, the device has continued to function steadily, with the catalyst maintaining good catalytic performance. In 2015, Shandong Huidong New Energy Co., Ltd. invested another 700 million yuan to build a new facility for the lightening of anthracene oil with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons. At present, the construction of the entire facility is basically complete, and it is planned to come online in July this year. (2016-3-14)
