On the Bentley 3500 33 relay card of the syngas compressor unit, the red lights for the second and third channels have suddenly come on (they were not lit before); however, it does not seem to affect the operation of the system, and no alarm messages are displayed on the control station’s alarm panel. . . What’s going on? Note: In the other system, no red lights appeared on this card while it was in operation. After the system was shut down for maintenance, two channels on this 33 relay card also showed red lights (not the same channels as mentioned above), but once the system was restarted, the red lights on those channels went out. . .
The indicator light on the relay module being on indicates that the logic for the corresponding channel configuration has been satisfied, in other words, the interlock trigger value has been reached
It lights up when the relay channel is in alarm status. If no alarm is detected, it might be necessary to reset it; this will resolve the issue. A hold function is set within the 3500
I checked 3500; this point is XS_K (****), with the asterisks in the brackets representing four digits. If interlocking is triggered, I’m not sure what this symbol signifies. The previous technician resigned, and I’ve just taken over so I don’t know much about it yet. I would like to ask what generally the dots starting with XS represent?
Well, I know that a fault retention function can be set at 3500. Previously, when the vibration issue caused the vehicle to stop working and a red light appeared, resetting it indeed resolved the problem. . . Since the machine was running, I didn’t dare to reset it. . .
All signals are normal; a reset should not be an issue. You can ask the manufacturer. For safety reasons, it’s better to keep using it as is – it doesn’t affect operation anyway
