The unit is shut down, and the oil temperature in the oil-gas separator has remained normal until it suddenly rose to 75 degrees yesterday. No one started the unit, and the electrical department has cut off the power supply. According to the information available, the unit does not have an electric heater, and the temperatures of the three phases of the motor are also 37 degrees higher than usual. I need an expert to help solve this; I really can’t figure it out. . .
Is the high motor temperature caused by the oil-gas separator, or is it due to some other issue that results in high temperatures in both the separator and the motor’s three phases?
The problem has been identified; the electric heater started automatically, and it is likely that there is an issue with the PLC.
It is suspected that there is a problem with the PLC module, as the electric heater does not have a low-temperature start threshold set.
