I’m a newcomer; I’ve started calculating the heat load for a heat exchanger design, but the mass flow rate isn’t specified. How can I determine the mass flow rate? Is there a record available? I really want to complete it carefully, step by step. I seek guidance from experts! !
First, assume a mass flow rate and perform the calculations to see if the results meet the requirements. If they do, that’s fine; if not, adjust the flow rate and calculate again. It is generally assumed that the flow velocity is 2~3 m/s
