Everyone, recently someone introduced a new technology that uses electrolyzed circulating water to remove scale, kill bacteria, and absorb sludge, thereby replacing the traditional method of adding chemicals to the circulating water. Has anyone used this technology? Please share your experiences with its effectiveness.
Electrolyzing recycled water can, in principle, precipitate metal ions, but it is not yet clear whether it can meet the required standards and whether it is practical to use
New technologies are also old technologies, and their stability cannot be guaranteed; currently, the traditional method of adding chemicals is still widely used.
At present, large-scale chemical plants still use treatment methods that involve the addition of chemicals. The water treatment companies we work with are Nalco and GE, and both of them still employ traditional chemical addition treatment techniques. As for electrolysis technology, they haven’t recommended it yet.
There are many descaling technologies available on the market; I’ve learned about quite a few of them. Theoretically, they do work, but what needs to be considered is stability, durability, and whether they can fit into a factory’s production system. Most importantly, it’s crucial to determine whether the same effective results can still be achieved even when the parameters of the system change!
I came across a report about an electrochemical cyclic water treatment system – it’s used in central air conditioning systems. It seems that Wuhan Iron and Steel Group has also implemented this technology, but it’s not clear whether it can completely replace chemical treatment methods. It’s Israeli technology; useful in areas suffering from water shortages~~ haha~~
