Pre-notification on the Convening of the 5th International Symposium on the Promotion and Application of Multi-nozzle Opposed Gasification Technology

To all relevant parties: The multi-nozzle opposed-flow coal slurry gasification technology, developed independently in China, has undergone years of optimization and industrial application; it is now a mature technology with stable performance. To date, 118 such gasifiers have been installed in 43 enterprises both domestically and internationally. The maximum designed capacity per furnace is 3,250 tons per day; 57 gasification furnaces are already in operation, with the largest single furnace having a capacity of around 3,000 tons per day. It has reached world-leading levels in terms of large-scale single-furnace operation, system performance indicators, as well as stability and reliability. In order to accelerate the promotion of the multi-nozzle opposed gasification technology, summarize and share operational experience with such devices, and foster the innovative development and wider application of this technology, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation plans to hold the fifth International Symposium on the Promotion and Application of Multi-Nozzle Opposed Gasification Technology in Nanjing in late October 2016. Experts and scholars from within and abroad who are engaged in research, design, plant operation, and equipment manufacturing related to gasification technology will be invited to give speeches at that time, to comprehensively present the latest achievements and advancements in gasification technology. All relevant organizations are warmly invited to actively organize the preparation of papers and send representatives to participate as needed. The relevant details of the conference are notified as follows: 1. Summary and exchange of design, construction, and operational experience of multi-nozzle opposed water-coal slurry gasification industrial plants ； 6. Exchange of experiences in the design, construction, and operation of industrial facilities for pulverized coal gasification technology. 1. The content focuses on research, production, process technology, engineering design, and equipment manufacturing in the field of multi-nozzle opposed gasification technology.
