Hello everyone. In the 2012 version of the control system installation manual, for the pressure transmitter installation diagrams, the root valves are sometimes specified as DN15 SW Φ22 and sometimes as DN15 SW Φ23. How can we tell the difference? When to use 22 and when to use 23? I’d appreciate some guidance from experts, thank you!
The dimensional specifications for socket weld joints are specified in SH3410 or GB 14383; the relevant standard for the connecting pipes is SH 3405 for nominal pipes. There’s no need to worry about Φ22 or Φ23. Unless your pipes are non-standard. If non-standard pipes are used, refer to the specifications when specifying the socket weld joint; select Φ22 or Φ23 based on the outer diameter of the pipe fitting.
