The temperature in the hydrogen sulfide concentration tower cannot be reduced to the minimum level; we are equipped with a plant for producing butyl octanol. How to solve it?
The technical package from Dalian University of Technology includes two absorption towers, a hydrogen sulfide concentration tower, a thermal regeneration tower, a methanol-water separation tower, and an exhaust gas washing tower.
The absorption tower is divided into a crude hydrogen absorption tower 1 and a crude syngas absorption tower 2; the methanol from tower 2 is returned to tower 1.
The circulation rate of lean methanol in Tower 1 is a bit high and cannot be reduced. 1. The temperature of the tower is generally high.
:) Try to gradually reduce the amount of methanol used, increase the concentration of CO2 in methanol, and moderately increase the amount of nitrogen used for stripping~
It is a slow process; the general approach is to increase the load on the chiller and gradually reduce the circulation volume, thereby lowering the temperature of the lean methanol. I was wondering if you have any recommended values for the amount of gaseous nitrogen to add? It’s unlikely to be done by just one class; if several classes share the same approach, adjustments can be made gradually.
Increase the flow rate in the desulfurization section of the scrubber tower. It could be due to an uneven load distribution in the scrubber tower.
