I heard that Qilu Catalysis uses the EDV6000 (the first set of its kind in China). Could you share some experience with it? How effective is it? What is the pressure drop across the entire desulfurization system?
It has not been actually produced. During technical discussions, it was found that many catalytic units still use wet desulfurization methods. Depending on the amount of dust and the required removal level, either the EDV5000 or 6000 can be used; the difference is that the 6000 model offers a better performance in dust removal, enabling levels below 10 mg/m3 to be achieved. Structurally, an additional nozzle is added at the outlet of the filtration module to increase the flow rate of the fluid entering the module, thereby improving the capture of particles. The pressure difference is around 6 kPa. Based on what is known so far, the alkaline method works quite well
