(1) Worm gear reducers are relatively rough; they do not possess the same level of precision as worm and gear reducers. For gears of the same specification, worm gear reducers have a greater torque than worm and gear reducers. (2) Worm gear reducers are mainly made of aluminum alloy, whereas worm reducers are made only of cast iron. (3) The price of worm reducers is much lower than that of worm gear reducers. For worm gear reducers, when new spare parts are used, they must undergo running-in and load testing before being put into formal use. It is a power transmission component that can be used in conjunction with ordinary motors, continuously variable transmissions, and other transmission devices. A worm gear reducer is a power transmission mechanism that uses a gear speed converter to reduce the rotational speed of a motor to the desired level, thereby generating a higher torque. I think it’s just the same thing; there’s no difference
The worm gear and the worm are designed to work together; if there is a worm gear, then there must also be a worm. That’s what it means, right?
