I would like to know about the control of SS levels in the saline wastewater discharged as a result of sodium-based catalytic flue gas desulfurization. Some systems are equipped with filters to ensure that the SS concentration in the discharged saline wastewater meets the required standards; what are the SS concentration levels before and after the use of these filters? Which filter model is the most effective, and how long can it be used before it needs to be replaced?

SS refers to suspended solids in wastewater. The unit is mg/L. Emission standards: Level 1 – 10, Level 2 – 20, Level 3 – 30. It seems that using flocculants doesn’t work; filtration is the only option. But the long-term fault-free operation of the filter is a problem.
