For the instrument air on-valve or off-valve, when the air pressure falls below a certain level, how does the valve operate? Does it open or close completely immediately, or does it move slowly as the pressure decreases?
The spring is held in place by air pressure. If the wind is gentle, turn it down a bit; when there’s no wind, turn it fully on or fully off.
Pneumatic control valves have a certain relationship between air pressure and the valve’s opening degree; pneumatic cut-off valves operate when there is air present (to open or close).
