The control parameters for selecting plate heat exchangers include the material of the exchanger, operating pressure, design temperature, etc. 2. When selecting a heat exchanger, it is necessary to ensure that the side with a lower heat transfer coefficient has a higher flow rate, and to make the heat transfer coefficients on both sides of the heat exchange surface of the two fluids equal or similar, thereby improving the heat transfer coefficient. The temperature of the fluid heated by the heat exchanger should be 10°C lower than the saturation temperature at the outlet pressure of the heat exchanger, and it should also be lower than the operating temperature of the pump used for the secondary water. 3. Fluids containing sediment and dirt should be filtered before entering the heat exchanger. 4. When selecting a plate heat exchanger, the flow velocity at the interface of the fluid on the side with a smaller temperature difference should not be too high, and it must meet the requirements regarding pressure drop. 5. In cases where a large flow rate permits a small pressure drop, a plate type with low resistance should be selected; conversely, a plate type with high resistance should be chosen. 6. Choose between removable or welded types based on fluid pressure and temperature conditions. 7.
