There is constant leakage at the gasket of the lubricating oil pipeline; what type of sealing gasket should be used?
Could it also be due to uneven flanges?
Use oil-resistant NBR rubber gasket inserts; ensure that the outer diameter of these gaskets is kept within the specified accuracy range by the manufacturer, with this outer diameter being equal to the inner diameter of the flange bolt holes. This ensures that the gasket can align itself automatically during installation, preventing it from being installed misaligned
The compressor lubrication oil pipes we used featured metal wound gaskets, and we haven’t received any feedback from the client regarding leaks
Lubricating oil is not a particularly special medium; if there is constant leakage, it’s not a problem with the gasket. Either there is a problem with the installation, or the flange surface is dirty or uneven.

The question is too general. There are many reasons for leaks, not just gaskets. The reality is as follows: There are a wide variety of gaskets used in lubrication pipelines – asbestos-based, wound-type, metal-based (copper, aluminum), PTFE-based, composite, combined types... Due to differences in the managing entities, application locations, system operating conditions, and installation quality, these gaskets have sometimes caused leaks and at other times not. How can this be explained? Since there is a leak, there must surely be some unique characteristics of yours that set you apart from other (applications), but those characteristics haven’t been clearly explained. A superficial recovery is completely useless for solving problems! ! !
