What are the current uses of the non-aromatic products produced by the aromatic extraction units following catalytic reforming in China? What are the contents of benzene and cyclohexane respectively?
The non-aromatic products obtained from the aromatic hydrocarbon extraction unit can be used as solvent oils or feedstock for ethylene cracking.
What are the approximate levels of benzene and cyclohexane in that naphthene?
The benzene content is below 0.5%, while cyclohexane accounts for around 40%.
40% cyclohexane – that’s a fairly high proportion. Is this cyclohexane separated out separately for further use?
