A few days ago, the “40,000 Nm3/h LNG production plant using coke oven gas” at Xuzhou Dongxing Energy Co., Ltd., for which Sichuan Tianyi Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tianyi Technology) provided the process technology and carried out the engineering design, was successfully commissioned and began producing qualified LNG. This facility was financed and overall contracted by Xi’an Shanggu Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanggu Power); Tianke Co., Ltd. provided the process technology and carried out the engineering design. It represents the first project on which Tianke Co., Ltd. and Shanggu Power have established a strategic partnership. It also serves as a model facility for the transformation and upgrading of the coking industry as well as for the advanced processing of coke oven gas. The successful cooperation on this project lays a solid foundation for more comprehensive and in-depth cooperation between the two parties in the future. In 2015, Tianke Co., Ltd. and Shaanxi Gas Turbine Power Co., Ltd., in response to market demands and taking into full account the complementary strengths of both parties, signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The aim was to leverage their respective advantages to carry out comprehensive, in-depth, and multi-faceted cooperation. By using coke oven gas to produce CNG and LNG as a starting point, they sought to achieve full utilization of coke processing by-products, thereby rapidly enhancing their market dominance and influence, winning market share, expanding their business, and achieving mutual benefit. The coking industry has been in a downturn over the past two years, and many coking companies have considered upgrading and transforming themselves, but they face difficulties due to constraints such as lack of funding. The successful commissioning of the Xuzhou Dongxing plant has set a model for cooperation among these enterprises. By leveraging the advanced technologies of Tianke Co., Ltd., as well as Shangdu Power’s strong financing capabilities and project management skills, it is possible to ensure both the advancement and reliability of the technology, as well as timely funding and proper management, thereby significantly reducing the construction period. The sincere cooperation among the three parties ensured the smooth construction of the facility, which saw its design, procurement, construction, and commissioning completed within just over a year.
