Gentle masters, I recently came across a diagram of a Japanese tower vessel, in which a material named 254slx was used to manufacture the lining of the vessel, as well as the end caps and grating plates. It should be a material resistant to hydrofluoric acid. But I searched through a lot of materials and couldn’t find it. Does anyone know what material it is? What domestic materials correspond to these, or what materials can be used as substitutes? Thank you all.
After searching around, I found this ZG0Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu1.5 (ZG00Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu1.5): it is quite suitable for resisting dilute sulfuric acid, and it also exhibits good corrosion resistance in media such as phosphoric acid, acetic acid, and caustic soda. The corrosion rate of this steel grade in 10%–70% sulfuric acid at temperatures below 70°C is less than 0.1 g/M2·h. Pump impellers made from this steel grade can have a service life of up to two years when transporting dilute sulfuric acid, while the pump body itself can last more than five years. In dilute sulfuric acid containing F-, this steel grade also exhibits good corrosion resistance; for example, in a sulfuric acid medium with a concentration of less than 50% and 2000 ppm of F-, the corrosion rate is less than 0.2 g/M2·h, the lifespan of the impeller can exceed one year, and the lifespan of the pump body can exceed three years.
