Taxis in the area are not expensive; avoid unlicensed taxis, especially those driven by people with a Northeastern accent. Places like Haikou, Sanya, and Dongfang are not very large, so a bicycle is the best choice. Make sure to drink plenty of water; coconut water is also a good option.
