The preliminary engineering design for Jiangsu Xinbo Energy’s 300,000 tons per year full-mixing fluidized-bed hydrogenation (EUU) project for the upgrading of anthracene oil has been completed. The preliminary engineering design for Jiangsu Xinbo Energy Technology Co., Ltd.’s 300,000 tons per year project aimed at upgrading anthracene oil, which was undertaken by Xinyou Energy, was successfully completed in May 2016. The project construction includes a 300,000 tons/year anthracene oil lightening unit, a 6,000 tons/year catalyst production unit, the plant’s storage and transportation system, as well as all the accompanying auxiliary facilities. The main unit of this project – the 300,000 tons per year anthracene oil lightening plant – utilizes the latest hydrogenation technology developed by Xinyou Energy, namely the fully mixed-bed hydrogenation technology (EUU technology). The products produced are mainly liquefied gas, naphtha, and diesel. This technology is capable of handling low-quality feedstocks with high levels of residue, asphaltenes, and particulates, as well as feedstocks with a metal content of over 200 ppm and high-sulfur crude oils. It can process coal tar, anthracene oil, heavy oil, shale oil, oil sands bitumen, vacuum residue, and even low-quality feedstocks such as solvent-refined coal slurry ; For the hydrogenation of low-quality oil feedstocks, the products are mainly liquefied gas, naphtha, and diesel. Compared with conventional fixed-bed hydrogenation processes for low-quality heavy oil, this process offers advantages such as a wider range of feedstock compatibility, higher product yield, higher reaction conversion rates, lower reactor pressure drops, higher space velocity in the reactor, a lower hydrogen-to-oil ratio, more efficient utilization of thermal energy, and easier scalability with lower investment costs. It also enables the online loading and unloading of catalysts, thereby maintaining the activity of the hydrogenation catalysts and ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the hydrogenation unit, which in turn increases the efficiency of the facility. After the preliminary preparation work was largely completed, Xinyou Energy held a project kickoff meeting on November 11, 2015. During the design phase, the various specialized designers adhered strictly to relevant standards as well as local laws and regulations. Moreover, active communication was maintained with the client and the general contractor from the early stages of the project, with optimized designs being developed with regard to material selection, construction convenience, and quality assurance ; In terms of environmental protection and other aspects, active responses are given in line with **recommended standards; thorough and targeted research has been conducted on areas such as water resistance and prevention of groundwater pollution. It involves scheme validation, modifications to the design scheme, and reviews, ensuring both quality control and efficiency throughout the entire design cycle. At the same time, the project team put forward breakthrough suggestions in various aspects such as overall layout planning, equipment arrangement, and the installation of auxiliary systems and external lines, compared to previous projects. Ultimately, on April 15, 2016, the basic design documents for Jiangsu Xinbo Energy Technology Co., Ltd.’s 300,000 tons per year project for the lightweight processing of aniline oil were completed. The basic design was successfully approved, earning high praise from the project owner, the general contractor, and the company’s leadership.
Is the poster from this company? When will construction begin? Has the instrumentation department started recruiting?
Accelerate progress and turn it into a model project

The market for coal tar hydrogenation is full of chaos; some research institutions and engineering companies lack mature technology, and they don’t want to invest time and effort in conducting in-depth research – they just like to boast ; Some owners of coal tar hydrogenation plants are ignorant and unscrupulous; even the victims boast about their situations. Even more despicable is the fact that some of these owners end up becoming technology providers. Therefore, I also urge those so-called intellectuals in the field of technology to have some professional ethics and conscience; if you don’t understand something, then don’t spread it! Think about how much manpower, resources, money, and time has been invested abroad in fluidized bed, suspended bed, and moving bed systems!
Yes, there are few industrialization facilities abroad. I wonder if there is recycled hydrogen? Should a circulation pump be installed in the reactor?
:When will people in China be able to settle down and focus on research with peace of mind? . . Neither the National Institute of Geosciences nor the Fuyan Research Institute has succeeded in doing so.
The 100,000 tons per year coal tar fluidized bed hydrogenation unit of Hebei Xinqiyuan Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., designed by Shanghai Xinyou, was successfully commissioned on July 25, 2015. From August 15 to 18, 2016, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation organized experts to conduct a 72-hour on-site calibration of this facility. During the evaluation, medium- and low-temperature full-range coal tar and anthracene oil were used as raw materials. The results of the 72-hour on-site test showed that the energy consumption per ton of raw material was 7.41 kg of standard oil, the yield of liquid products was 0.934 tons, and the water consumption for processing was 0.09 tons of fresh water ; The desulfurization rate, denitrification rate, residual carbon removal rate, gel removal rate, asphalt removal rate, and metal removal rate (primarily Ca and Fe) are high. On September 11, 2016, the inferior heavy oil fluidized-bed hydrogenation technology (EUU) used in this device passed the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. It is unanimously agreed that this technology features advanced processes and strong innovation, and as a whole reaches an internationally advanced level.
Pay attention to the 100,000 tons per year coal tar fluidized bed hydrogenation unit of Hebei Xinqiyuan Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd.; this unit was successfully put into operation on July 25, 2015. In September 2016, the low-quality heavy oil fluidized-bed hydrogenation technology (EUU) used in this device passed the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. In 2017, the 200,000 tons per year residue fluidized-bed hydrogenation unit of Caidenis Hebei Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. was also put into operation; both of these units were designed by Shanghai Xinyou.
