According to Article 5.3.1 of GB 30871, when working with fire near the outer walls of equipment such as pipelines, storage tanks, and towers, gas analysis must be conducted within a 10-m radius of the area where work is being carried out. Additionally, it is necessary to check the gas content inside the equipment – but only in those cases where it is possible to replace or clean the equipment and to analyze its internal gases. I believe that hot work without pressure replacement cannot achieve gas detection inside the equipment.
