Problem of Class A intermediate storage tanks in the workshop

This is indeed a difficult issue; the regulations aren’t that clear on this matter. My own understanding is as follows: 1. Class A storage tanks can be installed in Class A workshops. Although the building codes mention only Class C storage tanks, they don’t explicitly state that Class A tanks cannot be used either. 2. There are likely no specific requirements regarding the capacity and number of storage tanks, but according to construction regulations, they must be sufficient to cover one day and one night’s demand. If a facility stores more Category A materials in the intermediate tanks within its workshop than in the raw material storage tanks, it poses a significant risk in the event of an accident; such a situation is clearly inappropriate... and it is necessary to require them to remove those materials. It is recommended to install a large storage tank separately outside, and two or three intermediate storage tanks with a capacity of no more than 1 cubic meter inside the workshop; this will be sufficient to ensure normal production.

Well, that’s a good point. I’ve also thought about it: assuming there are no requirements regarding the number of storage tanks or their capacity in the workshop, in an extreme scenario where there are no tanks for storing raw materials and instead intermediate tanks are used as such to store materials within the workshop, that certainly won’t work.
