Yesterday, Textile Valley, located on Siliu South Road, is currently building the Shangqingtian Textile Museum. According to interviews with journalists, during its renovation, Textile Valley utilized the old factory buildings to create 18 cultural and creative exhibition spaces as well as master studios; these studios cover an area of over 200 square meters and have a ceiling height of 13 meters. Currently, 50 designers are based in the park, with 2 expert designers of ** level having signed contracts. According to the plan, a considerable area within the factory building will also be converted into office spaces, comprising a 2,000-square-meter centralized office area and a 2,000-square-meter separate office area, aiming to create a hub for original designers. The master studios among them will attract well-known domestic design masters, as well as design teams from South Korea, Japan, and Milan, Italy, to set up their studios there. These studios will facilitate interactions with startup teams involved in textile design and other areas of industrial design; by providing guidance and support, they will help increase the visibility and recognition of design works. The old factory building has been transformed into a textile museum. Guo Tao, the project manager of Textile Valley, told reporters that the area also started construction on a museum this year in order to develop emerging industrial tourism. It is said that Shanghai, Qingdao, and Tianjin are the main birthplaces of China’s modern textile industry; they have earned the nickname “Shangqingtian” and represent a microcosm of the history of development of China’s national industry. The Shangqingtian Textile Museum, created in Shibei District, will bring this industrial history to life. According to the plan, the core area of the Textile Valley industrial park covers a total area of 250 mu. The area where the Shangqingtian Textile Museum is located is bounded by Kaifeng Road to the north, Siliu South Road to the west, Tanghe Road to the south, and Kaifeng Branch Road to the east. This is the site of the former No. 5 National Cotton Mill; it was originally the location of the Japanese-owned company \"Shanghai Textile Co., Ltd. Qingdao Branch\", which was established in 1934. Many elements of textile history are preserved here, such as the old railway bridge built in 1934 that connected to the main Jiaoji Railway line, two Japanese-style water towers that are 80 years old, and the old factory buildings with their distinctive serrated shapes. The combination of historical and modern textile elements in this area makes it a natural \"museum\" in itself. The Qingdao Textile Museum, located in Tianmu City, will also be relocated here, with new interactive experiences added to turn it into an open museum themed around textiles. The old textile workshop scene is recreated. It is said that the first phase of the newly built Shangqingtian Textile Museum covers an area of nearly 10,000 square meters, and includes areas such as a history museum, a technology museum, an experience center, a corridor depicting the past of textiles, and a fantasy show venue. It will be developed into a **5A-level industrial culture tourism site** that integrates history and culture, art and fashion, textile technology, as well as commercial and leisure activities. Among them, the 1,600-square-meter fantasy runway has been completed and has hosted numerous fashion shows. The park also features a mini fashion show venue and 30,000 square meters of exhibition space to meet various presentation needs. The 200-meter-long indoor passage running through various exhibition areas and office spaces in the factory building has also been turned into a \"Glamorous Avenue.\" In addition to featuring bar areas for relaxation, display windows, and venues for holding events, a complete textile production line is also installed along the middle of this avenue. Passersby can now see a reenactment of the production scenes from those textile workshops. At present, more than half of the work for this project has been completed; it is expected to be finished by August, and it should be open to visitors by the end of the year. The second phase of the exhibition hall focuses on high technology. According to the plans, the area of the second phase of the Textile Museum will exceed 1,000 square meters, and it will include sections such as the Textile Forest, the Silk Road, and the Dreamland exhibition area. The Silk Road Adventure combines \"A Journey Back to Chang’an\", \"A Trip to Loulan\", \"Exploring Parthia\", and \"Roman Gladiators\" based on the important regions along the ancient Silk Road, enabling virtual interactive experiences for viewers. Each interactive segment has different game requirements, with the audience completing various challenges in different scenario units. At the end of the challenge, you will receive a silk craft as a reward. Through audio, light, and video technology, street scene projections and targeted sound systems are implemented to create a immersive experience.
