Regarding BKCAL_OUT and signal status of deltap

May I ask everyone, in the introductions to DeltaV’s function blocks, it is often mentioned that these modules support signal status propagation. There is also a parameter named status_opt within the function blocks, which is used to determine how the status of the block should be handled – for example, \"Uncertain if in Man mode\", \"BAD if Limited\", \"Use Uncertain as Good\", etc. What is the purpose of such signal statuses in configuration? Thank you. Additionally, in deltav, in order to achieve a seamless transition and avoid loop windup, the bkcal_out of one block is often connected to the bkcal_in of the previous block. My question is: is the value of bkcal_in in the previous block copied to the SP value? Also, in the cascade mode, bkcal_out in the subsequent block must be equal to either SP or out; otherwise, why would it take the value set manually by the operator as its SP value when transitioning from manual to automatic mode in the previous block?
