Design of the acidic water stripping reboiler

This post was last edited by sxf1028102800 on 2016-6-10 18:57. Is the reboiler of the acidic water stripping tower a heat-absorbing reboiler? What style do everyone’s have? Feel free to discuss it. Also, what should be noted when operating the reboiler during startup? Everyone is welcome to discuss
We are thermosiphonic. At startup, the liquid level at the bottom of the tower is established first, followed by the introduction of steam; the purified water is returned to the feed tank, and only after it meets the required standards is it discharged outside.
Horizontal siphon reboiler: pay attention to the temperature and pressure of the heat source, otherwise the equipment will corrode rapidly
I saw a few posts asking about stripping reboilers, but the answers given seemed rather vague; I still don’t quite understand it. Are both vertical siphon and horizontal siphon types useful? I’ve come across several sets, all of which are horizontal siphon reboilers, and I feel that they’re designed with a considerable amount of margin. I’d like to know if anyone uses vertical thermosyphon reboilers, and whether any of those using a heat source employ heat transfer oil (This question mainly addresses the situation where, sometimes, the manufacturer does not have steam but only heat transfer oil.)
