The inner walls of the mineral powder transport pipelines in our company are scaled up. What are some good methods for cleaning them?
I’m not sure if a high-pressure cleaning device would work; the kind used for clearing drains, with high-pressure jets.
Specify the operating conditions: pipe diameter, state of mineral powder transport (dry, wet, slurry), mechanism of scaling, hard scale vs. soft scale... If the pipe diameter is small and the pipeline length is short, high-pressure hydrocleaning should be used； For large pipe diameters and long pipelines, PIG cleaning is used.
