How is the position of the rotating ring in the Jiangsu Sealand HZA centrifugal pump determined? A Boge H7N mechanical seal is used; based on the drawings of this mechanical seal, it is possible to determine the dimensions of the sealing surfaces of the rotating and stationary rings as well as the joints with the pump cover and the stationary ring gland. But how do these dimensions correspond to those of the shaft sleeve?

Use the measurement method for single-face mechanical seals of centrifugal pumps to determine the current amount of seal compression at this position. Suppose the measured compression amount is 2 mm more than it should be; in that case, adjust the moving ring downward by 2 mm. Conversely, if the compression amount is 2 mm less than expected, adjust the moving ring upward by 2 mm. If there are still things you don’t understand, feel free to ask. If you still don’t know how to take the measurements, tomorrow you should take a photo with the pump bearing housing coupling facing downward, a photo with the static ring gland and the static ring facing upward, a photo with the dynamic ring placed in the middle of the shaft sleeve, a photo with the joint between the pump cover and the static ring gland facing upward, and also a photo of the inside of the shaft sleeve.
