Foreign brands such as Swagelok, Parker, Hamlet, and Safelok are all acceptable; there are also many domestic brands, but they must be produced by the company itself, such as Fitok. Many domestic brands purchase their card sleeves from external suppliers. I previously tested 1-inch card sleeves supplied by a professional supplier in Zhejiang, as well as those from Yangzhou. The outer tubes of these card sleeves seemed to be of good quality, but problems arose during testing – the quality was very inconsistent; some card sleeves were able to hold in place while others could not. During one test, a card sleeve had to hold a weight of 50 kilograms, yet it still came loose, causing the testing tank to be damaged. The installation method is consistent in all cases: it should be carried out in accordance with Swagelok’s requirements for the use of compression fittings in high-pressure applications. First, tighten it by hand, then use a wrench to tighten it until the fitting can no longer rotate, and finally apply a mark by tightening it an additional 1 1/4 turns. Many card sleeves were removed, and the front and rear sleeves fell off the card sleeve directly.
